ADA Curb Ramp Design Projects

H2 Engineering Services, Inc. is at the forefront when it comes to designing curb ramps in compliance with PennDOT standards, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Public Rights-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) and the ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG). Our team of surveyors and engineers have surveyed, designed and inspected approximately 3,950 curb ramps within Pennsylvania for various PennDOT projects. Experience includes work for PennDOT District’s 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12.

S.R. 6011, Section 290 – PennDOT District 4-0

H2ES surveyed and designed approximately 175 curb ramps throughout the project. Specific services included topography survey, ADA design, TIF forms, deed research, right-of-way research, special inlet designs and utility coordination.

S.R. 68, Section 0 – PennDOT District 11-0

H2ES surveyed and designed approximately 60 ADA ramps throughout the project. Specific services included topography survey, ADA design, TIF forms, and right-of-way research.

S.R. 11, Section 0 – PennDOT District 4-0

H2ES surveyed and designed approximately 130 curb ramps throughout the project. Specific services included topography survey, ADA design, TIF forms, and right-of -way research.

S.R. 209, Section ADA – PennDOT District 5-0

H2ES completed a pedestrian study to determine the pedestrian accessibility needs within Schuylkill County, PA. The project included surveying and designing over 225 curb ramps, existing ramp condition survey, right-of-way research, traffic signal permit design, construction stakeout and construction consultation.
